From 2027 we will be installing air conditioning!
From 2027, Wrights Heating & Gas Services will be installing and servicing air conditioning across Hertfordshire and North London. Whether it's a cool bedroom on a summer night, a comfortable home office or a whole floor kept at the right temperature, we'll recommend the right system for your home and fit it to the same standard as our heating work.
Bookings open in 2027. Register your interest now and we'll contact you as soon as we're taking installs, so you're ready before the summer rush.
System Best for
Single split system One room: a bedroom, lounge or home office. A slim indoor unit on the wall, linked to a compact outdoor unit.
Multi-split system Two to four rooms from one outdoor unit, each with its own indoor unit and temperature control.
Ceiling cassette Open-plan spaces, offices and commercial premises, set flush into the ceiling.
Ducted system Whole floors and new builds, with the unit hidden away. Quoted after a site survey.
Most modern systems also heat as well as cool, giving you an efficient extra source of warmth in spring and autumn. We fit leading brands and will explain the options honestly, including running costs, noise and where the outdoor unit can go.
An air conditioning system needs servicing once a year to run efficiently, stay hygienic and keep the manufacturer's warranty valid. From 2027 we'll offer:
Annual servicing: filters, coils and drains cleaned, refrigerant pressures and performance checked.
Service plans: a yearly visit booked for you, so the warranty never lapses.
Repairs: fault-finding, leak repairs, regassing and replacement parts.
This includes systems we didn't install, so if you already have air conditioning that needs looking after, register your interest too.
Local and established: based in Ware, with 19 years' experience looking after homes across Hertfordshire and North London.
Properly accredited: Gas Safe registered, WaterSafe approved and CIPHE registered. Refrigerant work will be carried out under F-Gas certification.
Two-person installs: every job is done by an engineer and an apprentice, so installs are quicker, tidier and safer.
Honest advice: we'll tell you which system suits your home, and if air conditioning isn't the right answer, we'll say so.
How it works
Get in touch. Call us or ask Flamey, our website assistant, and tell us which rooms you'd like to cool.
Free survey. We visit to measure the rooms, plan the pipe route, choose where the outdoor unit goes and check your electrics.
Itemised quote. A clear written quote, with no obligation.
Installation. Most single-room systems are fitted in a day. We commission the system, show you how to use it and register the warranty.
Aftercare. We remind you when the annual service is due, so the system stays efficient and the warranty stays valid.
Do I need planning permission? For most houses, no: a single outdoor unit usually counts as permitted development. Flats, listed buildings and homes in conservation areas often need consent. We'll check this at the survey.
How long does installation take? A single-room system usually takes four to six hours. Multi-room systems take one to two days.
Will it be noisy? Modern indoor units are very quiet, often quieter than a fridge. We'll place the outdoor unit away from bedrooms and neighbours wherever possible.
Can air conditioning heat my home too? Most systems we fit can heat as well as cool, which makes them useful all year round.
How much will it cost? It depends on the number of rooms, the pipe route and your electrics. We'll give you an itemised quote after the survey.
Do you service systems you didn't install? Yes. We'll service and repair most makes, whoever fitted them.
